“There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth...not going all the way, and not starting.” Buddah

One of the hardest things about starting training, whether it's recovering from an injury (like me!) starting from scratch, or just starting from months of not doing anything (like most of us) the best thing you can do is START! Remember no matter what whether you are the fittest person in the world, I reckon the 1st 15 minutes of training at any point of fitness is always the hardest... so start with baby steps... and remember after you get over the 1st 15 minutes... the adrenaline kicks in... and you wont wana stop... so come on guys... GET MOVING!!!!!

I love these stability balls, they are so good for the core.... not only do these help with long distance running, as having a strong core makes you focus less on using your arms and legs and therefore saving more energy... but you can get an awesome tummy in the process!

For women - our legs are the biggest calorie burners... so get squatting!!! 50 of these every other day with weights... you will have legs made of steel!!

I will be updating the blog soon with the new places across London i've found to run.. but if your starting out, recovering or just shy to get out and run on the streets of London, get on the cross trainer/running machine - until you feel confident enough to venture outside.. build on your fitness gradually...mixing up the cardio by working on the core and some weight work, the two together work so much better than just cardio - or just weights.

Remember start slowly... be consistent... and most of all ENJOY IT, enjoy the endorphin kick, or if that doesn't work  - focus on the fact that tomorrow is your day off. I find the best way to do it without hating every moment is to think of something else, I personally think of  the what yummy cake I want to bake - and then realise ..........

'Luise !!! I  better.... KEEP ON MOVING!'
